Accreditation Council for Educational Standards of Schools and Universities (ACESSU)

 

If you are trying to check the verification of educational institutions, please note that “Credentialing Page” exists as long as accreditation, recognition, or membership is valid. After expiration of accreditation, recognition, or membership, page will be deleted and person looking for verification will not be able to view “Credentialing Page” (accreditation) page for the educational institution.

 

How to verify accreditations, recognitions and memberships

We are respecting the privacy of any person or institution, therefore, we are not providing published lists of our accreditations, recognitions and memberships.

Each accredited or recognized institution receives access to the “Credentialing Page” on our website, where institutional accreditation/recognition credentials are published.

Each accredited or recognized institution will receive an electronic badge and electronic link/address for our “Credentialing Page” describing status of accreditation, recognition, or membership.

"Credentialing Page" exists as long as accreditation, recognition, or membership is valid. After expiration of accreditation, recognition, or membership, the page will be deleted and persons looking for verification will not be able to view that “Credentialing Page” (accreditation page).

If you are trying to verify an educational institution's accreditation and the link to the “Credentialing Page” is not working, it is advisable to check the link a few times (to eliminate the possibility of Internet server malfunctioning).

If you are unable to locate the “Credentialing Page”, we suggest contacting educational institutions directly (due to privacy matters, we do not answer any inquiries made by third parties). If an institution is accredited by ACESSU, but the link is not working, institutional representatives are obligated to contact us directly with the request for the correction of any technical errors, and any accredited educational institution is able to restore the link's functioning within a few days.

It is also advisable for any institution holding a valid accreditation, recognition, or membership to perform link verification on a regular basis. We are not responsible for any technical errors or malfunctions, unless educational institutions timely notify us about any technical problems.

Each educational institution holding a valid accreditation, recognition, or membership must place at least one verification link (with or without electronic badge) on institutional webpages.

In addition to the above-stated, each institution holding a valid accreditation, recognition, or membership will receive an appropriate certificate indicating valid accreditation dates. Educational institutions are not obligated to provide to any party a copy of the accreditation certificate as long as the electronic verification form (as described above) is fully functioning.
