HISTORY OF ACESSU

Accreditation Council for Educational Standards of Schools and Universities (ACESSU) was established in the year 1991 in the United States as an independent authority and not for profit private membership Association and academic leadersip for the creation of public policy on educational matters, assessments of higher education standards for accreditation purposes and performance of research related to the quality of education and evaluation of educational programs.

ACESSU can be described as the creator of public assurance, public policy and public confidence for the higher education accreditations and recognitions.

As an independent education policy maker and educational standards evaluator, the organization possesses extensive expertise in the areas of higher education evaluations and quality assessments of education programs, and serves as a leading expert in higher education accreditations and evaluations.

ACESSU is located in the historic City of Philadelphia of the United States.
