REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIPS
Only the following educational institutions are considered to be eligible
ETHICAL CONDUCT AND STABLE EXISTENCE:
Institutions must demonstrate a stable existence that was not associated with unethical conduct, bankruptcy proceedings, illegal activities, abuse of students, or any other form of significant negative public perception.
REPUTATION IN GOOD STANDING:
Institutions must demonstrate a reputation in good standing for all forms of professional conduct.
ABSENCE OF MISLEADING NAMES:
Institutions must demonstrate that the official name of the institution does not closely resemble the names of other legally established educational institutions operating in close proximity, and such name is not construed in the way that can create any form of confusion, misunderstanding or misleading perception negatively affecting other educational institutions. The official date for legal creation of the institution will serve as a prevailing point.
LICENSED OR EXEMPTED BY PROVISIONS OF LAW:
Institutions must be licensed according to the Federal, State, or other legal requirements of the applicable jurisdiction and be legally authorized to provide educational services in lawful and acceptable manner, or must be exempted from such requirements according to the legal provisions of the prevailing legal system. Any form of exemption must be demonstrated according to provisions of the prevailing law (for example, by information reflected in applicable laws).
REASONABLE QUALITY OF PROVIDED EDUCATION
Educational institutions must retain qualified faculty members and must maintain educational curriculums corresponding with educational degrees/courses designations.
Educational institutions must maintain all administrative records and must keep detailed records for all students.
Educational institutions must be offering qualified on-site instructional courses offered at permanent physical locations, OR must maintain approved educational methods for any form of distant/online education and must be offering stable two-way form of communication with students.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
All communications with ACESSU must be in the English language, unless educational organizations obtain an exemption from ACESSU.
All documents submitted to ACESSU must be in the English language (originally prepared or translated from other languages), unless educational organizations obtain an exemption from ACESSU.
PHYSICAL LOCATION:
Institutions cannot exist without physical location (expressed in legally existing building/parcel of land/street/municipality or city and country) where the records can be maintained.
RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR TO DENY:
ACESSU reserves the right not to accept requests for accreditation or membership and to reject such requests from any institution and for any reason.
