INDEPENDENT AND AFFORDABLE EDUCATIONAL ACCREDITATIONS FOR SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCREDITATIONS

Before submission of an official Application, educational institutions seeking accreditation must submit a Provisional Request (in free-style form) for the accreditation and must provide detailed evidence demonstrating that institution falling into the category of eligible educational institutions.  

Only the following educational institutions can be provisionally considered for the eligibility to apply for accreditation 

FIRMLY ESTABLISHED AND STABLE EXISTENCE:

Educational institutions must demonstrate a stable existence that was not associated with unethical conduct, bankruptcy proceedings, illegal activities, abuse of students, or any other form of significant negative public perception.  

REPUTATION IN GOOD STANDING: 

Educational institutions must demonstrate a reputation in good standing for all forms of professional and business conduct and must be free from any pending or active legal or administrative actions against institutions.  

ABSENCE OF MISLEADING NAMES:

Educational institutions must demonstrate that the official name of the institution does not closely resemble names of other legally established educational institutions operating in close proximity, and such name is not construed in the way that can create any form of confusion, misunderstanding or misleading perception negatively affecting other educational institutions. The date of legal creation of the institution will serve as a prevailing point.  

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Educational institutions must demonstrate financial abilities to meet obligations to students, demonstrate financial and business stability, and must provide evidence of credit worthiness in the form of a financial statement prepared by a financial department or an accounting firm.

REASONABLE QUALITY OF PROVIDED EDUCATION

Educational institutions must retain qualified faculty members and must maintain educational curriculums corresponding with educational degrees/courses designations.

Educational institutions must maintain all administrative records and must keep detailed records for all students.

Educational institutions must be offering qualified on-site instructional courses offered at permanent physical locations approved by appropriate governmental authorities, OR must maintain approved educational methods for any form of distant/online education and must be offering stable two-way form of communication with all students.

LICENSED OR EXEMPTED BY PROVISIONS OF LAW:

Educational institutions must be licensed according to Federal, State, or other legal requirements and be legally authorized to provide educational services in lawful and acceptable manner, or must be exempted from such requirements according to legal provisions of the prevailing legal system. Any form of exemption must be demonstrated according to provisions of the prevailing law.  

INSTITUTIONAL OR PROGRAMMATIC ACCREDITATIONS:

Educational institutions may request accreditation for a single educational program or may request general institutional accreditation where each educational program must be accredited by a separate accreditation process.  

Initial accreditations are always based on an actual examination visit to educational institutions. Detailed examination of all records is required.  

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

All communications with ACESSU must be in the English language, unless the educational organization obtained an exemption from ACESSU.  

All documents submitted to ACESSU must be in the English language (originally prepared or translated from other languages), unless the educational organization obtained an exemption from ACESSU.

PHYSICAL LOCATION:

Educational institutions cannot exist without a physical location (expressed in a legally existing building/parcel of land/street/municipality or city and country) where the records can be maintained.

RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR TO DENY:

ACESSU reserves the right not to accept requests for accreditation or to reject Applications from any institution and for any reason.
